The CTEK Lithium Battery Charger’s unique display allows you to follow the entire 8 step, fully automatic charging process. The charger delivers selectable 0.8 A or 4.3 A to the battery from 1.2 – 110 Ah, and is suitable for maintenance charging up to 160 Ah.

    This charger is ideal for the LiFePO4 (lithium-iron-phosphate) batteries installed in 2015 M4 coupes for U.S. delivery. It uses the same connection and program functions found in the CTEK charger used for lead acid/AGM batteries, but it charges at a lower voltage to avoid damaging a lithium ion battery. Before purchase, ensure your battery chemistry is as listed above, as there are several types of lithium-ion batteries, each with different charging requirements. For those who wish to modify the coding of the electronic modules on these vehicles, the charger will maintain system voltage, which results in complete file transfers without data corruption. This is an excellent charger for the new battery technology.
