Return Policy:
We will accept returned items that have been purchased directly through High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. that fall within 30 days time of delivery. All customers looking to return a product must have Return Authorization Form issued to them from a High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. staff member. Items that are returned without the correct documentation are not guaranteed a refund.
The customer is to ship the item back to High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. at their own expense using a delivery service of their choice. Once the product arrives at our facility it will be inspected to ensure the quality, both in terms of performance and physical appearance (can’t take back a beat up item). Once the product has been confirmed to be in new condition, a refund will be issued for the price of the battery.
Warranty Handling Information:
All items sold by High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. will have a stated warranty period displayed on the product page within the specifications tab or in the description of the item on the product page.
All items that are not performing to their rated specifications as stated by the manufacturer within 60 days of the delivery date will be replaced by High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. at no cost to the customer - this includes the shipping charges both ways.
Items thought to be defective after the 60 day period need to be return to High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc at the cost of the customer in order to be assessed by one of our staff members. Items within this time frame are subject to quality inspection upon arrival to our facility in order to confirm the claimed status of the product. If the product is found defective, High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. will send out a brand new replacement product to the customer at our own expense. Should the product test free of defects, it will be returned to the customer at their own expense.
We are more than willing to work with our customers to cut down or eliminate any potential cost associated with replacing a possible defective battery. Please contact our customer service department at 1-877-775-4381 or email us at orders@techbatterysolutions.com to discuss a warranty claim.
We are unable to withhold the shipment of a warranty replacement at the request of the customer, all warranty requests will be processed and shipped immediately after processing. Issuing of a replacement does not extend or restart the warranty period.
Limitation of Liability:
High-Tech Battery Solutions shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if High-Tech Battery Solutions has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Typographical Errors:
In the event that a High-Tech Battery Solutions product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, High-Tech Battery Solutions reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. High-Tech Battery Solutions reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, High-Tech Battery Solutions shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Term; Termination:
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by High-Tech Battery Solutions without notice at any time, for any reason. - Animations – epileptic users can stop all running animations with the click of a button. Animations controlled by the interface include videos, GIFs and CSS flashing transitions.
- Content highlighting – users can choose to emphasize important elements such as links and titles. They can also choose to highlight focused or hovered elements only.
- Audio muting – users with hearing devices may experience headaches or other issues due to automatic audio playing. This option lets users mute the entire website instantly.
- Cognitive disorders – we utilize a search engine that is linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, allowing people with cognitive disorders to decipher meanings of phrases, initials, slang, and others.
- Additional functions – we provide users the option to change cursor color and size, use a printing mode, enable a virtual keyboard and many other functions.
Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level every 24 hours. This AI engine remediates the website’s HTML issues and orients the functionality and behavior of the site for screen readers used by the visually impaired, and keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments.
We utilize AI for the following accessibility components:
- Screen-reader optimization: The AI runs in the background and learns the website’s components from top to bottom, thereby providing screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, it will provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others.
Additionally, the AI scans all of the website's images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn adjustments on as soon as they enter the website. - Keyboard navigation optimization: The AI adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website fully operable by a keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the entire site using the TAB and SHIFT+TAB keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with ESC, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.
Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus (available at any time by clicking Alt+1). The AI will also handle triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus drift outside of it.
Browser and Assistive Technology Compatibility:
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, Microsoft Edge and I.E 11 or above, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers), both for Windows and for MAC users. This website is operable using other platforms as well, though we are not officially supporting them and recommend users to utilize the aforementioned systems.
