What actually leaves the dock

Every battery we ship is a sealed, non-spillable type, which means there are no special hazmat restrictions by road, air, or sea. We build the skid ourselves and band it in heavy plastic, never steel, because a steel band can short across a terminal. Every skid gets a two-person check before it leaves the dock.

Delivery matched to your site

Freight fails most often at the destination, not in transit. So we set the delivery up around your site. No loading dock? We send it with a liftgate. Limited-access, residential, or a military base? We arrange it. Need a call-ahead appointment? That too.

How those services show up in your pricing follows one rule: tell us about the site before we quote, and the carrier's fee goes into the unit pricing invisibly. Tell us after the quote is out, and it shows up as a separate line item. Either way you see it in writing - but before is cleaner.

And if your site has no dock and no forklift: take the liftgate. A typical string replacement is four batteries at 100 to 150 pounds each. Getting them off the back of a trailer by hand is how backs get hurt, and depending on the carrier, the liftgate fee may get charged anyway once the driver has to use it.

Free freight, and its three conditions

When we quote your batteries, freight to your dock is in the written quote, with the delivery type set up for your site. Three conditions, stated plainly: the item's minimum order quantity has to be met, the order has to exceed $75, and free freight assumes the destination can unload - a forklift or a loading dock.

Thirty seconds at your dock

When the freight arrives, inspect it and note any damage on the bill of lading before you sign. Damage runs about one claim a quarter across everything we ship - but if yours is the one, that note on the BOL is what lets us send a replacement right away instead of waiting for a claim to settle.

When the old batteries come out

Spent lead-acid batteries have a recycling path back through us. We coordinate the return of your old cores as part of the delivery, so you're not left with a pallet of dead batteries and no way to move them. If your facility needs documentation for the disposal chain, we provide a recycling certificate for the returned cores.
