How is it different from the PST-150-12?

The battery side and the box contents. Input runs 21 to 33 VDC, maximum draw drops to 10 amps, peak efficiency rises to 89 percent, and the socket-plug cable is not included. Chassis, outlets and warranty carry over.

What earns its keep at 150 watts on a 24 volt system?

Charger duty: a laptop brick and phone charger together, camera batteries, instrument chargers, up to 1.25 amps of AC. Heating elements and motors are the wrong loads at this size.

Is it safe to leave wired in?
