A few weak jars, or the whole string?
Most replacement projects begin at a maintenance test, when a few jars read weak and the question becomes whether to swap those units or the full string. In our own service work, new jars placed in an older string get pulled down to that string's level within 8 to 12 months, and larger telecom strings typically run 7 to 10 years. We ask for the string's age before quoting single units for that reason.
Some manufacturers also restrict mixing. Stryten, for example, says not to combine legacy Marathon FT units with its E-Series in one series string. Send the string age, the quantity and what the test found, and the quote sets out both options.

Telecom battery questions
How do I know if my battery is discontinued?
Send the full part number from the label. We check it against the manufacturer's current line. If it is retired, the product page names the successor where one is documented, and the quote prices it alongside any remaining original stock.
How long will the batteries take to arrive?
It depends on the part. Some front-terminal models ship from stock, while special-order cells and module systems can run several weeks. The quote states the availability checked that day, and we recheck it when your PO arrives.
Can a newer battery go into an existing string?
Sometimes, but it depends on the models and the age of the string. Send the installed part number, the string age and the quantity, and we review the manufacturer's guidance before recommending a mixed string.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes. International buyers and freight forwarders are quoted directly and pay by wire.
