Samlex NTX-3000S-12 3000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter, 12V, LCD Remote Included
Samlex NTX-3000S-12 3000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter, 12V, LCD Remote Included
Samlex NTX-3000S-12 - 3000W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter, 12V
Warranty
Built to Run a Full Load List
- NTX-RC wired LCD remote included - the same remote earlier NTX models use, so this unit drops into an existing NTX installation without rewiring the control run.
- Full protection set: low and high input voltage shutdown, overload, short circuit and ground fault shutdown (manual reset), over-temperature shutdown (auto reset).
- Variable speed fan tracks load and temperature, so at partial loads the inverter stays close to silent.
- ETL listed to UL 458 and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1; FCC Part 15(B) certified against electrical interference.

Where This Inverter Is Used
- Construction sites and field work - corded saws, drills, and tool-battery chargers running off the truck instead of a generator.
- Service vehicles and mobile offices - diagnostic gear, printers, and computers on clean AC wherever the job is.
- RVs, campers, and boats - the house bank covers the galley and electronics between shore hookups.
- Telecom sites and emergency backup - keeps critical equipment and home electronics up through an outage.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the NTX-3000S-12 and the NTX-3000-12?
The output connections. The NTX-3000S-12 has three standard NEMA 5-15R household receptacles, each with its own 15 amp breaker, so equipment plugs in directly. The NTX-3000-12 instead has a single NEMA L5-30R twist-lock receptacle for feeding a hardwired circuit or transfer switch. Power ratings, dimensions, and the included remote are the same on both.
Can I pull the full 3000 watts from one outlet?
No. Each receptacle is limited by its 15 amp breaker to roughly 1700 watts at 115V. To use the full 3000 watt rating, spread your loads across two or three of the outlets.
How long will my batteries run it?
Divide your usable amp-hours by the DC draw. At full output the NTX-3000S-12 pulls around 300 amps from the 12V side, so a pair of 100Ah AGM batteries discharged to 50% gives about 20 minutes at full tilt, but several hours at a few hundred watts. Send us your load list and we will size the battery bank before you commit.
What else do I need to install it?
Heavy DC cabling, a fuse rated for the 300 amp draw, and clean connections to the M9 nut-and-bolt input terminals. Samlex's DC-3500-KIT 400A installation kit covers cable, fuse, and lugs in one box. Keep the DC run short; the AC side needs nothing special.
