Return & RMA Process Overview
Processing of return merchandise authorizations may take up to five (5) business days upon receiving returned goods at our facility.

Time-Based Return Policies
Purchases Less Than 60 Days Old:
- All non-Origin brand batteries and non-conventional motorcycle batteries require return to our facility for testing
- We provide a FREE prepaid return label at our commercial shipping rates
- Label will be attached to your RMA confirmation email
Purchases Over 60 Days Old:
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- We'll provide a PayPal payment link for the return shipping cost
- Once payment is received, we'll email you a prepaid return label
- We'll provide return shipping cost quote and instructions
Origin Brand Batteries - No Return Required
These Origin Batteries Do NOT Need to Be Returned for RMA:
- Origin motorcycle batteries
- Origin UPS batteries (2-year warranty)
- Origin general SLA batteries
- Origin kids scooter batteries
- Origin wheelchair batteries
- Origin stairlift batteries
We'll process your warranty and ship a replacement directly after troubleshooting.
Platform-Specific Policies
Amazon Orders - Important:
- Conventional batteries that have been filled with acid are NON-RETURNABLE
- If you filled a conventional battery with acid, it cannot be returned or warranted
- We'll ask about this during the warranty review process
Shipping Options for Returns
- Option 1 (Recommended): Use our prepaid label for convenience and discounted rates. For orders over 60 days, shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- Option 2: Ship using your own carrier. Please share tracking information with us once shipped.
- We do NOT mail physical labels - all labels are sent via email
Required Information
- Order Information: Order number and purchase date
- Battery Details: Brand, model number, date code (if visible), and application
- Issue Description: Detailed explanation of the problem and troubleshooting steps tried
- Photos: Clear images showing the battery, any damage, and date code label (highly recommended)
- Charging Information: Charger model used and charging history
Processing Timeline
- Initial review: 1-2 business days
- Return label issued (if applicable): Within 24 hours of approval
- Testing upon receipt: 3-5 business days
- Resolution: Replacement or refund processed within 1 business day of testing completion
Detailed Repacking Instructions (Required Reading)
- Prepare the Battery
- Disconnect and remove battery safely
- Inspect for damage (document with photos if present)
- CRITICAL: Cover BOTH terminals with electrical tape or terminal caps to prevent short circuits
- Wipe the battery clean of dirt and debris
- Gather Packing Materials
- Sturdy corrugated cardboard box (double-walled preferred)
- Bubble wrap or foam padding (minimum 2 layers around battery)
- Packing peanuts, crumpled paper, or foam inserts
- Heavy-duty packing tape
- "FRAGILE" and "CONTAINS BATTERY" labels
- Pack Securely
- Never use a box that is too small – battery should NOT touch sides
- Place 2-3 inches of cushioning on the bottom
- Wrap battery completely in bubble wrap (minimum 2 layers)
- Center battery in box and fill ALL empty spaces
- Battery should not shift when box is gently shaken
- Add 2-3 inches of cushioning on top before sealing
- Seal and Label
- Seal with heavy-duty packing tape, reinforce all seams
- Apply return shipping label to top
- Mark "CONTAINS BATTERY" and "FRAGILE" on at least two sides
- Documentation
- Keep your shipping receipt and tracking number
- Email tracking number to us at [email protected]
Safety Reminders:
- Do NOT ship damaged, swollen, or leaking batteries – contact us immediately instead
- Ensure terminals are properly insulated with tape or caps
- Choose shipping method with tracking
Restocking Fees & Conditions
- Products arriving with damage (dents, scratches, significant wear) may incur up to 25% restocking fee
- Products arriving in non-sellable condition will not receive a refund
- Battery Hardware Required: All mounting hardware must be returned with the battery. Missing hardware may result in up to $5 deduction
- Battery must be returned in original packaging when possible
Brand-Specific RMA Requirements
Special Forms Required for These Brands:
- NOCO Products: Separate NOCO form must be completed
- XS Power Batteries: XS Power form required (handled directly through manufacturer)
- Motobatt Batteries: Motobatt form must be completed
If your product requires a special form, we'll contact you with instructions after reviewing your RMA request.
Troubleshooting Questions We May Ask During RMA Review
To better assist you and determine the best resolution, we may ask the following questions:
- What is a detailed explanation of the problem?
- Has the battery been charged? If yes, what charger model was used?
- How long was it on charge?
- Has the battery been load tested to confirm it's defective?
- Did the performance drop off gradually or suddenly?
- How often are you charging the batteries?
- Are you getting a charge indicator on the device or charger?
- What application is the battery being used in?
