Does the 220 in BBG-220RT mean 220 amp hours?
No. It is 220 minutes at a 25 amp constant current load, measured to 1.75 volts per cell at 77°F. C&D names every block in the Broadband range by that runtime figure and publishes no ampere-hour rating for the series at all. A sizing worksheet written around amp-hours needs the constant current table instead: 67.70 amps for one hour, 12.60 for eight, 5.50 for twenty.
How long will a BBG-220RT run a 16 amp load?
Six hours to 1.75 volts per cell at 77°F, with 16.10 amps sitting on that column. Drop the load to 12.60 amps and the block runs eight hours; raise it to 22.90 and it runs four. A 36 volt supply built from three blocks pulling 16 amps therefore holds about 580 watts for six hours at room temperature. Enclosure temperature moves all of it, so quote the site ambient alongside the load.
