Samlex SAM-2000-12 - 2000W Modified Sine Wave Power Inverter, 12V

Three outlets and 2000 continuous watts put the SAM-2000-12 at the top of Samlex's 12 volt modified sine line short of the 3000. That third receptacle is the practical difference: the fridge, the work light and the battery charger each get their own plug, no power strip required. What happens during an overload past 4000 watts?
