Leoch's current LPF12-40 datasheet publishes 40Ah at the 10-hour rate to 1.80 volts per cell at 25°C. That is the figure used on this page and on the quote. A capacity figure without its hour rate and end voltage is incomplete, so send the old sheet if your project specification names a different value.
Is this battery intended for deep-cycle solar use?
The LPF12-40 is a front terminal standby battery. Leoch lists standard power cabinets, communications equipment, power stations and UPS systems as its applications. A daily cycling project should be checked against a cycle-rated series rather than assigned from voltage and capacity alone.
What hardware fits the terminals?
The current sheet specifies T6 copper alloy threaded inserts for M6 bolts. Confirm cable-lug hole size, connector spacing and torque requirements before replacing a different case or terminal style.
