Design life is the engineering estimate of how long the cell can serve under ideal float conditions. The warranty is the period EnerSys will replace a failed unit. The gap between the two is normal across the industry. Terms are confirmed in writing with your quote.
What should I do if a cabinet runs hot?
Tell us before you order. Sustained high ambient shortens VRLA service life, and if a site runs warm a specialist can tell you whether a high-temperature line is the better fit for that cabinet.
How do I confirm the NSB190FT RED is the right battery before ordering?
