What does thin plate pure lead change?

Two things that matter in the field. Pure lead resists corrosion better than lead-calcium, so the grid survives longer at elevated temperature, and thin plates lower internal resistance, so the cell takes a faster recharge and holds voltage better under load. That is why this line gets specified for cabinets rather than climate-controlled rooms.

Will it cross from a NorthStar NSB190FT?

It is the equivalent we recommend for that role, and the NorthStar RED line is discontinued, so this is where those buyers should be looking.
