Power-Sonic PS-4100 Batteries
The Power-Sonic PS-4100 battery is power-sonic's standardversion of a 10ah 4v battery that is completely seal and maintenance free.
Power-Sonic PS-4100 Battery Specifications:
Voltage: 4 volt battery
Capacity: 10 amp hour
Terminal: F1
Height (w/terminal): 3.85"
Length: 4.01"
Width: 1.97"
Weight: 2.50 Lbs
Cycle Applications: Limit initial current to 3A. Charge until the Power-Sonic PS-4100 voltage (under charge) reaches 4.8 to 5.0 volts at 68°F (20°C). Hold at 4.8 to 5.0 volts until current drops to under 100mA. The Power-Sonic battery is fully charged under these conditions, and charger should be disconnected or switched to “float” voltage.
“Float” or “Stand-By” Service: Hold 4 volt PS-4100 battery across constant voltage source of 4.5 to 4.6 volts continuously. When held at this voltage, the Power-Sonic battery will seek its own current level and maintain itself in a fully charged condition.
Note: Due to the self-discharge characteristics of the PS-4100 battery, it is imperative that they be charged within 6 months of storage, otherwise permanent loss of capacity might occur as a result of sulfation
