I’ve been through my share of vehicles over the years — more than 30! And having had that many cars and trucks, I’ve also gone through plenty of batteries. My choice for the past 7 years have been Deka AGM batteries. I needed a battery for a diesel vehicle back in 2016, and a mechanic friend suggested I get a Deka AGM. That battery is still going strong. Conversely, I previously had bought another brand of “red top” batteries for a couple of other vehicles. One of them lost the ability to take a charge in very short order. The other two need to be “maintained” with charges, and it they are not, they will not start their respective vehicles after sitting for a day or two. The Deka AGM batteries seem to be excellent, and combined with the terrific High-Tech Battery Solutions low pricing… you can’t go wrong.

The local Mazda dealership just laughed and hung up on me when I asked about the availability of a battery for my '90 NA Miata. His loss, as I am very happy with the Deka battery - fit and installation, no problem. Just had to cut off the rectangular vent hose ends (usually found on the factory batteries). Highly recommend.
