CSB UPS12360-6F2 12V AGM High Rate Battery for Uninterruptible Power Supply
CSB UPS12360-6F2 12V AGM High Rate Battery for Uninterruptible Power Supply
CSB UPS12360-6F2 Battery - 12V 27.83W Per Cell High Rate AGM
Warranty
A Float Battery, Not a Cycling One
- 7 Ah at the 20 hour rate - per the CSB price list; the per-part datasheet publishes no amp hour row at all, because a UPS never discharges over twenty hours.
- 15.1 amps at the 15 minute rate - to 1.67 volts per cell, rising to 33.7 amps over 5 minutes and 20.4 amps over 10.
- 3.00 amps maximum charge current - the recharge ceiling, and what sets how long the unit is defenseless after an outage.
- 325 amps short circuit current at 20.70 milliohms - the pair a protective device rating and an ohmic baseline get set against.
- Built to the stationary standards - IEC 61056-1/2:2012 with UL1973 Listing and UL1989 Recognition, which is the float-service family rather than the traction family.

Where This Battery Is Used
- Desktop and small line-interactive UPS units - the models under desks and behind counters that carry a workstation through a transfer to generator or a clean shutdown.
- Point of sale and network edge equipment - registers, switches and small racks where an outage costs a transaction rather than a shift.
- Alarm, access control and emergency lighting panels - permanently floated equipment inspected on a schedule rather than exercised.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a deep cycle battery?
No, and it is worth being clear because the two get confused at this size. CSB builds the UPS series for float service: the block sits at full charge continuously and delivers a short heavy discharge when it is called on. A deep cycle battery is built to be run down and refilled repeatedly, and it uses thicker plates to survive that. Run this one through daily deep discharges and it will not last. For mobility, floor machines or solar, the EVX High Cycle range is the one CSB rates for the job.
What should I size a replacement on, the 7 amp hours or the watts?
The watts. Amp hours here are measured over twenty hours at a gentle current, and a UPS empties the battery in five to fifteen minutes. CSB does not even print an amp hour row on this part's datasheet; the 7 Ah comes from the price list. Use 27.83 watts per cell, or 167 watts across the block, when you check a load. Keep the 7 Ah for matching the number printed on the battery you are replacing.
How does this compare to the UPS12460F2?
Two more amp hours and a bigger case. The 12460F2 is rated 9 Ah at the 20 hour rate against 7 here and steps up correspondingly on the watts column, so it runs longer at the same load. Both carry the same 1 year CSB term, the same 5 year design life and the same F2 tab. The decision is almost always the tray: measure the slot before choosing, because the 12460F2 will not drop into a compartment cut for this footprint.
Why does the part number have a dash in it on this page?
Our record writes it UPS12360-6F2 and CSB's own price list writes it UPS 123606F2. Same battery, two spellings of the same string, and buyers type it both ways along with UPS123606F2 and UPS 12360-6F2. All four forms will find this page. When you order, quote whichever form is printed on the block you are replacing and a specialist will match it.
Send the model of the unit and the dimensions of the compartment, or a photo of the label on the old block. A specialist confirms the fit and the terminal before anything ships, and quotes it in writing.
