Warranty
Built for Automotive-Size Batteries
- Spark-proof connection - no current flows until the clips see a battery, which protects the vehicle's ECU as much as your knuckles
- Reverse polarity protection - crossed leads shut the output down instead of pushing current the wrong way
- Short-circuit protection - a fault trips the charger off rather than cooking the cable
- ETL and CETL certified for the US and Canada
- Quick-disconnect harness in the box - alligator clips for batteries you can reach, plus a ring-terminal lead you leave bolted on and plug into

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the warranty on the Battery Tender Plus 021-0128?
Ten years, limited, from Deltran. Hold on to your receipt, and if the charger ever fails, contact us first and we will help get the claim moving.
What is the difference between the Battery Tender Plus and the Junior?
Output and battery size. The Plus delivers 1.25 amps for 14 to 80 Ah batteries, so it can recharge a car or boat battery in a reasonable time. The Junior delivers 750 mA for 3 to 30 Ah powersports batteries. Both run the same four-stage program on the same lead-acid chemistries.
How long does the Plus take to charge a car battery?
Work from the amp-hours you need to put back. A 60 Ah battery at half charge needs about 30 Ah, and at 1.25 amps the bulk stage runs roughly 24 hours before absorption finishes the job. That suits a maintainer connected over a weekend, not a flat battery you need back by lunch.
Can I leave the Battery Tender Plus connected for months?
Yes. Once the battery reaches full charge the Plus drops to float and only feeds current when voltage falls below the storage threshold. Leave it on through winter storage and check the clips or ring terminals for corrosion now and then.
Does the Plus charge AGM batteries?
Yes. AGM, gel, flooded, and sealed maintenance-free 12V batteries all charge on the same profile. Lithium iron phosphate batteries do not; those need the Junior Multi-Chemistry or a Power Tender model with a lithium setting.
Order the Battery Tender Plus online, or send us the battery size and how the vehicle sits, and a battery specialist confirms it is the right charger in writing in 24 to 48 hours, with no obligation.
