The Battery Tender Plus 021-0128 is the 1.25 amp Battery Tender, sized for the 14 to 80 amp-hour batteries in cars, pickups, boats, and RVs rather than the small powersports batteries the Junior was built around. Clip it on, plug it in, and a four-stage program takes a 12V lead-acid battery to full charge, then holds it at float voltage for as long as the vehicle sits. A second car driven twice a month or a bass boat parked from October to April bleeds charge to self-discharge and parasitic draws, and a battery left half-charged sulfates and quits early. The Plus catches that slow drain before it turns into a jump start in spring. Designed and engineered by Deltran in DeLand, Florida.
