Will an ETX fit in place of my Yuasa battery?
In most cases, yes, as a direct drop-in. The ETX sizes map onto the common Yuasa YTX, YTZ and GYZ footprints, and the finder above returns the exact cross for your part number. Confirm terminal orientation against the battery coming out, since some vehicles route the positive cable to a specific side.
AGM or conventional for a motorcycle?
AGM, for almost every modern machine. A conventional flooded battery costs less up front but needs checking and topping up, vents acid mist, and gives up sooner under vibration. The sealed ETX design removes the maintenance entirely and holds up in the environments powersports machines live in.
