What to Expect
The best way to eliminate battery sulfation is to prevent it. The Deltran Battery Tender will fully charge four batteries and maintain them at the proper storage voltage using a 4-step charging process:
Step One: Initialization
The monitor circuit verifies appropriate battery voltage levels and good electrical continuity between the battery and the charger DC output.
Step Two: Bulk Charge
The charger delivers a constant current at full power until 75-80% of the batteries are fully recharged.
Step Three: Absorption Charge
The charger conditions the batteries for optimum performance, delivering a constant charge at absorption level. The charge ends when the battery charging current drops below the optimum recharge threshold.
Step Four: Float Charge
The charger keeps the batteries fully charged and maintains a high specific gravity. A full charge reset monitor protects the batteries from excessive appliance current draw while charging.

The Deltran 4-Bank battery tender is for use with 12-volt lead-acid batteries, including Absorbed Glass Matt (AGM), Maintenance-Free (MF) and flooded.
